Is it possible to combine the power of a conventional pellet boiler with the cosiness of a fireplace? Yes, it does. Pellet stove Paula from Skånekraft is a highly efficient water-jacketed stove that is designed to heat large houses. While it is a tasteful and cosy stove with a visible fireplace, the stove produces hot water and can thus be connected to the house's water-borne radiators and underfloor heating. The power is divided between 18 kW in the waterborne system, and 6 kW as airborne heat in the direct surroundings of the stove. Similar water-sheathed pellet stoves, but with lower output, cost over SEK 70,000. We are proud to be able to offer a high-quality and economical variant for a significantly lower price.

Produces hot water

According to the association Swedish Bioenergy Association heating and hot water production account for around 80 per cent of total household energy needs. It is precisely this statement that led us to start with a water-coated pellet stove that supplies the home with both hot air and self-produced hot water. The stove's internal water capacity of 32 litres provides a very good addition to the home's hydronic heating system. When the water in the tank reaches a certain temperature, the pump starts and the hot water distribution starts, by default at 70 degrees, but the pump start temperature can be adjusted to a maximum of 80 degrees. The stove is best connected to an accumulator tank of a maximum of 300 litres.

Suitable for burning own pellets

Skånekraft's pellet stoves are particularly suitable for those who produce their own pellets and want to burn them. With efficient ash removal that takes place automatically at intervals during operation, the stove can also efficiently burn pellet types that ash more than wood pellets, such as self-made wood pellets with some bark content. The stove is also compatible with both 6 and 8 mm pellets, which makes things a lot easier.

Full control - even from your mobile

The integrated colour display helps you control the heat according to your needs. Among other things, you can set the time and configure thermostat operation, which means that the stove starts automatically when the indoor temperature falls below a certain level. The stove's depth configuration mode offers a range of advanced settings for those interested in technology. Please contact us by phone, and we can assist you if you want to adjust advanced settings such as water pressure, frequency of ashing, feed speed of screw and the like. All pellet stoves from Skånekraft can be easily controlled with your mobile phone. This means that you can control your indoor temperature, no matter where in the world you are. All you need to get started is the app Tuya, which can be downloaded from the Appstore or Google Play. The app then allows you to switch on, off and control the heat in the stove. This means you can easily make sure the house is nice and warm before you get home from work, or switch on the stove from your bedroom, creating a great start to the day.

Very environmentally friendly - and economical

This stove has an energy rating of A+, which is the second highest on the scale. The output is high, while the consumption of pellets is relatively low. With an efficiency of 94 per cent, there is very little burning for the crows, which is particularly attractive with electricity prices and pellet prices soaring.

For large villas

The output of 24 kW and the heating of 240 square metres is therefore intended for large houses or farms, although we also offer smaller and cheaper models for detached houses, terraced houses and summer cottages. As mentioned, it is best suited to villas where it can also support or sometimes completely supply the hydronic heating system. If you do not already have hydronic heating, or are planning to install it, we recommend that you instead choose a pellet stove that only produces hot air.   NOTE: We do not assist with installation but refer to local expertise in your local area. You will find serious players through the trade association Skorstensföretagen here.

It took a bit of tinkering with the factory settings to get the perfect feed and airflow to minimise soot on the glass, but we got great support from the company and sorted it out. I am very happy with the stove beyond that. Low pellet consumption in relation to stated intervals from the company. Quiet and at the same time powerful. Our stove is connected to both the elements and floor heating.
